Richard E. Andrews

Richard E. Andrews, 80, of Zanesville, passed away March 27, 2016 at his residence surrounded by family.

He was born January 30, 1936 in Zanesville, son of the late Lawrence Andrews and Elouise Wheeler Andrews.  He was a veteran in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.  He was a member of the American Legion Post 71. He was a truck driver and worked construction until he retired.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon (Alexander) Andrews; children, Donald Andrews of Colorado, Charles Andrews, Patricia (Donald) Miller, Terri Andrews, Wayne (Sue) Westcott, Kermit Westcott, Timmy (Laura) Westcott, Sharon Westcott, Tammy Illing, Tina Novaria, all of Zanesville; thirty-five grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Sheryl Andrews; sister, Nancy Roush.

Calling hours will be held 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm Wednesday, March 30, 2016 and 10 am-11 am Thursday, March 31, 2016 where services will take place at 11:00 am.  Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park.
