Jacqueline R. Johnson, 90, of Zanesville, passed away August 7, 2017 at her residence.
She was born August 28, 1926 in Zanesville, daughter of the late, Harry Marsh and Helen Hauge Marsh. She retired from Brockway Glass, volunteered at Helen Purcell Home, Bingo at the Senior Center and was known for her famous peanut butter fudge. She lived by her motto, “To get through life, you have to be happy go lucky and half crazy.”
She is survived by her children, Becky Baily of North Carolina, Linda Gordon of Texas; daughter-in-law and caregiver, Melody Johnson of Zanesville; sister, Mary Lou (Charlie) Frame; grandchildren, Lisa (Damon) Burkett, Tommi (Jimmy) Pitcock, Nick and Allen Morrison, Marcy (Allen) Carrico, Terra (Gina) Bailey, Judy Grady, Samantha (Tommy) Craig, Erica (Robert) Rice; several great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Johnson; son, Thomas “T.J.” Johnson; daughter, Carolyn Sue Morrison; brother, Bob Marsh; sisters, Peggy Forker, Nancy Denbow and Betty Rittenhouse.
Calling hours will be held 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 11, 2017 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will take place at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park.
