Dorothy Eileen (Hittle) Ross

Dorothy Eileen Ross, 85, of Zanesville, passed away February 15, 2017 at Genesis Hospital.

She was born April 11, 1931 in Zanesville, daughter of the late, Earl Hittle and Marie Wisecarver Hittle.

She is survived by her sons, Jack (Sherry) Ross, Randy (Cora) Ross, Mike Ross; daughter, Rita Woodrum; brothers, Ronald “Buddy” Hittle, Marvin (Melinda) Hittle; five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John Junior Ross; son, John Jefferson Ross; sisters, Louise Seaschultz, Elsie Carpenter and Judith Hittle.

Calling hours will be held 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, February 18, 2017 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will take place at 6:00 p.m.  A dignified cremation will follow the service.
