Daniel R. Kocher

Daniel R. Kocher, 85, of Zanesville, passed away December 24, 2016 at Genesis Hospice Morrison House.

He was born November 13, 1931 in Zanesville, son of the late Robert E. Kocher and Mabel Staten Kocher.  He was a veteran in the United States Army serving during the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by his sons, Dann Kocher of Zanesville, Doug (Tammy) Kocher of Zanesville; daughters, Dawn Kocher of Columbus, Dina (Mike) Orozco of Columbus; brother, Robert (Connie) Kocher of Canton; sister, Jackie Brooks of Worthington; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Diana Cohen Kocher; brothers, David Kocher, Paul Kocher; sister, Colleen (Koki) Dishon.

Memorial services will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2016, at Bryan Place, 49 N. Sixth Street.  Immediately following memorial services, a celebration of life gathering will be held at Bryan Place in honor of Daniel.
