Almost a week later and I still can't make my heart grasp you are not here. I know you are with dad and Rusty where you wanted to be,And I remember you laying in that hospital bed before we took you home saying "Lisa I am so sorry I will be making you an orphan" I am not an orphan mom..You and dad will forever be in my heart until it is my time to join you in Paradise...I know how much you missed dad and now you are at peace with him,,You always said I wish dad was here,He always made things better,,Well wish no more my beautiful angel...You are together again where there is no pain..no more needles,no one poking and prodding,no more hospital stays,no more dialysis,For you are HOME..All my love for always...........Lisa

I shed a few tears when I found out about Carole's passing. I met Carole through dialysis and she instantly became my friend. She had a wonderful sense of humor and I think her favorite two words were "shut up" but in a loving way. I went through her grief when her husband died. It was a real hard time for her. I know she was one of the favorites at dialysis. She will be missed.

Mom,I knew this day was coming in my mind but my heart won't co-operate.I know you were frightened of the unknown and I am so grateful God let you pass in peace with family surrounding you the way you wanted to at home. You are my hero, life threw you so many obstacles and hurdles and you jumped them all.But God saw you were tired and said "My child come unto me and I will give you rest" You are with Dad and Rusty now, where you wanted to be,you finished your journey on earth together and are now beginning a new journey together in Heaven..,So like you told me,'When you see a shadow, don't be afraid, know it is me watching over you, because I love you so"..Mom I will be watching for that shadow every day...I am not going to say goodbye..I am just going to say ,I will see you again some day,,So pet a lion for me,and ride a drop of rain..I love you my precious mom,My love always,Lisa

I love you, Mom. You are finally free and back with Dad, your original protector here on earth, along with Our God.
We have some great memories of going to the auctions, shopping and dining out.But we made some precious memories in the last few days, that will touch me for the rest of my life. The determination and fight in you, to get off that damn vent. Us locking eyes, because you still couldn't speak to me, and focusing on breathing, even though you was tired. Your strong will showed through that day.The strength you had to hold on to get home! I hope I am half the woman you are during times of medical challenges. You handled all of yours like a champ! The most precious will be when you asked me to lay down with you in your bed, wrapping my arms around you and telling you, how I truly loved you. It was a honor and privilege to share that moment with you.
You asked us all at the hospital to remember you and not to forget what you looked like. HOW? How could we not remember Our Mom,Our Grandma, Our Matriarch! You will forever be remembered, with every breathe each one of us takes that you had to leave behind, always!
I pray you're at peace, holding hands with Dad. Strolling those streets of gold, with Rusty dancing and barking around your feet, with every step the two of you take together, once again.
Mom,I will be looking for that shadow! Love you!

My deepest sympathy goes out to Lisa, Shelly, and Vickie. You're Mom and Dad were both amazing people, as you well know. You're Mom put up one heck of a fight for a long time, I hope you girls find peace knowing that she is smiling down, with the love of her life beside her.. smiling his onery smile too. They have been reunited and are both pain free now. Love to all of you, you've made you're parents proud.
