David J. Huffman

David J. Huffman, 41, of Zanesville, passed away September 29, 2015 at his residence.

He was born November 4, 1973 in Zanesville, Ohio, son of Daniel and Janis Mauk Huffman. 

David worked for the United States Post Office Twin Rivers Dr. for twenty years. 

He graduated from Franklin University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and a Master’s Degree in Accounting and Finance Management from Keller DeVry University. 

David loved spending time with his family and the outdoors.  He enjoyed bike riding, walking, bowling and motorcycles.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by the love of his life, Carolyn Haley-Fleegle; her children, Christian and Connor; sister, Kelly Huffman; half-sister, Ronda Kane Jerles; uncle, Scott Henry; aunt, Martha Agar; special friends, Buster Thacker and Joni Banks Hudnall and several co-workers at the Columbus Twin Rivers Dr. Post Office.

The family would like to give special thanks to Hospice and all nurses and caregivers.

Calling hours will be held 1-3 pm Friday, October 2, 2015 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, with services held at 3:00 pm.  Additional calling hours will be from 6-8 pm Friday, October 2, 2015. 

A private family burial will be held at a later date.
