Wilma “Jean” Davis-Stemm, 74 of Zanesville, passed away March 22, 2020 at the Genesis Morrison House.
She was born September 4, 1945 in Zanesville, daughter of the late, William Davis and Ruth Staffey Davis. Jean worked for Willow Haven Care Center in the housekeeping for several years. She enjoyed her family, was an avid Bingo player and loved her dolphins.
She is survived by her children, Kris (Steve) Johnson, Penny (Mike) Brooks, Brian Sharp, Winfield “Butchie” (Sabrina) Bowers III; siblings, Louis “Butch” Davis, William “Bill” (Marlene) Davis, Chuck Davis, Bob (Shirley) Davis, Wanda Carter; grandchildren, Michael (Shannon) Smith, Mallory (Matt) Moody, Melisha (James) Salisbury, Ryan Johnson, Ray Bowers, Courtney (Aaron) Bagley, Samantha Bowers, Sarah Bowers, Dallas Brooks, Gage Brooks, Damien Brooks, Danika Brooks; ten great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Virgil Stemm whom passed away 2013 and Butch Bowers whom passed away 1990; siblings, Ruth Ross, Dorothy Davis, Rosie Davis, Hazel Cannon, Karen Hartley, Shirley Davis, Harry Davis; sisters-in-law, Peggy Davis and Phyllis Davis.
Private family services will take place due to current restrictions under state guidelines.
