William "Bill" Spence

William “Bill” Spence, 64 of Mt. Perry, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on October 31, 2023, at his residence.

He was born on November 22, 1958, in Zanesville, Ohio, son of Jack Spence and Madaline “Jean” (Ayres) Spence. Bill was a graduate of West Muskingum High School in 1977 and a veteran of the United States Marines. He enjoyed helping his parents whenever he could. Bill was an avid hunter and in his spare time, he enjoyed being outdoors.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his 4 daughters: Sonya Spence, Cheyenne Spence, Sarah Spence, and Jeannie Spence; 8 grandchildren; sister, Deanne (Jon) Stottsberry; and special cat, Max.

Per Bill’s wishes, no calling hours or services will be held. A dignified cremation will take place.
