William "Bill" Hill Obituary

William “Bill” Hill, 73 of Zanesville, passed away surrounded by his family on May 27, 2025, at the Genesis Morrison House of Zanesville.

He was born on June 6, 1951, in Zanesville, Ohio, son of the late Gordon Hill and Shirley (Agin) Hill. Bill was a graduate of Zanesville High School in 1969. He retired from G&J Pepsi after 43 years. He enjoyed golf car rides around the neighborhood with his Puppy Girl, Gigi, and puttering around in the yard and garage. Bill loved spending his spare time with his family and friends, drinking his Busch Light and 7/7.  

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Donna (Gadd) Hill; 3 children: Tammy (Jerry) Angelo, Rowdy (Misty) Shirer, Penny (Joe) Shepherd; brothers, Kevin (Pam) Hill, Steve (LA) Hill; sister, Sandy (Bill) Forker; grandchildren, Alexis Wilson, Slayde Starkey, Matthew Shirer, Abi Shirer, Dillon (Michaila) Shepherd, Bubby Angelo; great grandchildren, Paisleigh, Brayson, Marigold; aunt, Diane Staley; sister in law, Luann Hill; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; special family friends, Rusty and Becky Balsley; special dog, Puppy Girl Gigi.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his great grandson, Wells Shepherd; and brother, Tim Hill.

The family would like to sincerely thank the Genesis Morrison House for the care given to Bill.

Private graveside services will be held. Bill will be laid to rest at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
