Mr. Farris was one of the best teachers ever. I remember him fondly from Chandlersville Elem. He also taught my son in Duncan Falls. My deepest sympathy to his family.

Mr. Farris was an outstanding teacher and a wonderful man, He not only taught me but my daughter, who is also a teacher today, had the pleasure of being taught by Mr. Farris as well. I am truly saddened at his passing. My thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.

Justin, so sorry to see that your father has passed. I was one of his students at Duncan Falls Jr. High and also in your mothers class at Duncan Falls Elementary 2 years earlier. Your mother was my teacher when they were expecting you. I remember them both like it was yesterday, and enjoyed them both. Your Dad was always very soft spoken. You have my sympathy.

Wendell was my cousin through my grand mother Mary Lucy Farris Bault. I will always remember his visits when I was a child and just sitting listening to the adults talk. I am so sorry for your loss. May you find peace and comfort in God's love during the days and weeks to come. Love to the entire family.

Mr. Farris was a great teacher, a joy to learn from (Class 1977). I ran onto him in 1994 at Bethrsda and he recognized me. It was refreshing to have my 5th grade teacher remember me. Best wishes to his family.

RIP Mr. Farris. You were a great history teacher, with one of the hardest jobs ever - getting kids in junior high to listen & hopefully care. Wishing his family and close friends peace and happy memories.

Wendell was my first cousin. I'll always remember the Farris family living not too far from us on 206. We saw them often. Our prayers go out to his son and siblings, Jimmie and Barbara.
