Wanda June Reed

Wanda June (King) Reed, 93 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully with her daughters by her side in the care of Shriver’s Hospice at Clay Gardens on February 24, 2023.

She was born on June 20, 1929, in Zanesville, Ohio, daughter of the late Lowell King and Lillian M. King.

She is survived by her daughters, Marty (Gill) Nowell, Tammie Benjamin; son, Tim Reed; grandchildren, Melissa, Aimee, Mindy, Mike, Ben; 15 great grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter; best friend, Ann Huey; special nurse, Agnes; special aid, Melissa; and her pride and joy companion, Preshus May.

In addditon to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Charles “Fizz” Reed Jr.; brothers, Dwight, Russell, and Bob; sisters, Betty, Wilma, Margaret; and daughter-in-law, Helen “Janie” Reed.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday February 28, 2023, from 10:00 AM -2:00 PM at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home. Services will be held on Tuesday February 28, 2023, at 2:00 PM with Jason Boggs officiating. Burial will follow services at St. Paul Cemetery.
