Terri Jean Powell

Terri Jean Powell, 56 of Zanesville, passed away on October 18, 2022, at Genesis Hospital.

She was born on July 4, 1966, in Zanesville, Ohio, daughter of Terri Moore and Renee (Bare) Kidwell. Terri took pride in her Native American culture. She was a member of the Alcoholic Anonymous, completing 6 years of sobriety. In her spare time, she enjoyed going to the movies and spending time with her children.

She is survived by her children, Trenda Powell, Renee Powell, Arnold Powell Jr.; grandchildren, Jocelyn Papageorge, Jayden Papageorge; father, Terri Moore; mother, Renee Kidwell; sister, Katelyn Kidwell; special cat, Trip; and many friends and family.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 23 years, Arnold Powell.

Calling hours will be held on Friday October 21, 2022, from 11:00 Am -1:00 PM at DeLong-Baker & Lanning funeral Home. Services will be held on Friday October 21, 2022, at 1:00 PM with Rev. Darren Tolbert officiating. Per Terri’s request, a dignified cremation will take place following services.
