Steven R Denton

Steve R. Denton, 68 of Zanesville, passed away on June 14, 2022, peacefully surrounded by his family at his residence.

He was born on March 1, 1954, in Zanesville, Ohio, son of the late Robert Dobbins and Lenora Maxwell. He retired from Burnham Casting Solutions after over 42 years of work. In his free time, he truly loved to spend time with his family. Steve adored his two grandchildren, Briar and Ian. Being a grandfather was one of his greatest blessings.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Kathy Denton; son, Neil (Stephanie) Denton; daughter, Natalie (Brady) Basehart; brother, Robert “Chris” (Nancy) Dobbins; sister, Lori (Robert) Chapman; grandchildren, Briar Basehart, Ian Basehart; half-sister, Roxanne Miller; uncle, John Grotegeer; aunt, Nancy Howe; brother-in-laws, Gary Bollinger, David Bollinger, Michael Bollinger, James Botson; sister-in-laws, Sally Hittle, JoAnn Stemm; special friends, Jack Kinder and Dave Devoll.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and mother-in-law, Edna Bollinger. 

Per Steve’s wishes, no calling hours or services will be held. A dignified cremation will take place.
