Shirly "Sally" Ann (Bennett) Humphrey

Shirly “Sally” Humphrey, 83 of Zanesville, passed away September 3, 2021 at Genesis HealthCare.

She was born November 15, 1937 in West Virginia, daughter of the late Thomas Bennett and Marie Halsey Bennett.  She retired from United Technologies as a press operator after 26 years. Some of her favorite things to do were spend time with her family, playing scrabble with her niece, Vicki, and solving word search puzzles in her spare time.

She is survived by her children, Randy (Ashley) Ore, Kim (RJ Brown) Ore, Wendi (Nehemiah) Gaiters; grandchildren, Nikki (Heather) Peterson, Elisabeth (Thomas) Denton, Laura (Brad) Williams, Eric Boles, Brandon Boles, Tyler Peyton, Parker Coen; great-grandchildren, Frances, Colin, Lauren, Nevaeh, and Violet.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Doris Sheridan, Betty Campbell; brothers, Thomas and Bobby Bennett.

Calling hours will be held from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, where services will take place at 1:00 PM with Randy Ore and Nehemiah Gaiters officiating.  Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park.
