Shirley Smith Obituary
Shirley “Chris” Smith, 74 of Zanesville, passed away on March 8, 2022 at her residence.
She was born on December 8, 1947, in Crooked Tree, Ohio, daughter of the late James William Tidd and Edna Rowlands Tidd. She was a member of the Mt. Sterling United Methodist Church. She worked as a cake decorator and at Franklin Printing. In her free time, she volunteered at the Food Pantry.
She is survived by her sons, Andrew Smith and James Smith.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Eddie I. Smith; brothers, David Tidd, Richard Tidd, and Daniel Tidd.
Graveside services will be held 1:00 PM Friday March 11, 2022 at Mt. Sterling Cemetery. Shirley will be laid to rest next to her husband.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Mt. Sterling Methodist Church.
