Rusty L Leary

Rusty L. Leary, 49 of Frazeysburg, Ohio, passed away on July 13, 2022 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

He was born on December 27, 1972, in Millersburg, Ohio, son of Paul Leary Sr. and Rita Lou (Boyce) Leary. Rusty was a supervisor at DK Manufacturing. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and camping with his family and friends. He was always known to be an avid outdoorsman.

He is survived by his partner of 22 years, Donna Peterson; father, Paul Leary Sr.; brother, Paul (Mary) Leary Jr.; sister,  Ritta (Brian) Schoen; son of Donna’s, Gus Peterson; daughter of Donna’s, Valerie (Tad) Hunter; grandchildren of Donna’s, Cheyenne Miller, Brook Peterson, Allyson Peterson; several Aunts, Uncles; nephews, Robert Sypolt Jr., Jesse Sypolt, and Paul Sypolt.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Rita Lou (Boyce) Leary; brothers, James Leary, Bill Leary, and Clyde Leary.

No calling hours or services will be held at this time. Per Rusty’s wishes, a dignified cremation will take place. He will be laid to rest at Fairview Church Cemetery at a later date.
