Roy G. Morrison

Roy Grover Morrison, 89 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2025, at the Oaks at Northpointe Nursing Home.

Roy was born on August 8, 1935, in Zanesville, Ohio, son of the late Roy Morrison and Mary Morrison. He worked for United Technologies for over 37 years where he retired. Roy loved God and was looking forward to being with his savior and his wife, Naomi. Not a day would go by that he did not mention her. After God and family, it was Ohio State Football. He always wore one of several Ohio State hats and he did not miss a game. Naomi and Roy loved Christmas; they were famous for having their Christmas Party, everyone was invited.

Roy left behind many nieces, nephews, and family members who loved him very much.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Naomi, whom he married August 6, 1966; 2 children: Mike and Misty; 2 brothers: Jack and Tom Morrison; special dog, Barney.

The family would like to thank his many caretakers, whom he enjoyed and loved. They made his final years so much better! Bless all of you.

Rest in peace Uncle Roy! We love you so much.

Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday April 2, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Greenwood Cemetery in Zanesville with Tim Patton officiating. Burial will conclude services.
