Ronald Olin Richmond, 78, of Zanesville, passed away January 28, 2023, at his residence.
He was born January 30, 1944, in Bellwood West Virginia, son of the late, Elmer Richmond and Faye Moody Richmond. He was a veteran in the United States Army, member of the First United Methodist Church. He was a maintenance supervisor in Zanesville and Cleveland until his retirement.
He is survived by his Christian family: Rev. Joy (Dennis Cebulsky) Wigal; grandkids, Karis French, Will Burkhart, Joel French(Alice Brown), Jasmine Martin; church family from the First United Methodist Church; many other special caregivers and foster grandchildren; fur buddies, Maggie, and Bugsy; sister Emma Webber; special niece Lisa Shiflett.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Brown Richmond; brothers, Jack Richmond, Lloyd Richmond; sisters, Sharon Richmond, Leonora Shiflett, and Betty Richmond.
Calling hours will be held from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM Thursday, February 2, 2023, at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will take place at 4:30 PM with Rev. Joy Wigal officiating. A dignified cremation will follow services.
