Ronald L. Moody

Ronald L. Moody, 73 of Zanesville, passed away on January 22, 2024, at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville.

He was born on February 1, 1950, in Zanesville, Ohio, son of the late Delbert Moody and Gladys (Sims) Moody. Ron worked at Mid Atlantic Canners for over 20 plus years. He enjoyed vintage/muscle cars, working on cars, dirt track racing, and fishing.  Above all, he loved spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren.

Ron is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Wilma (Wickham) Moody; son, Ron (Jodi) Moody Jr.; daughter, Crissy (Brad) Smith; brother, Delbert (Sheryl) Moody; sister, Mary (Earl) Church; grandchildren, Kadyn, Cody, Amber, Heather, Gage, Lexie; and 4 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Moody; and sister, Linda (Nathan) Wade.

Calling hours will be held on Friday January 26, 2024, from 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM at Trinity Full Gospel Church in Zanesville, where services will be held at 1:00 PM with Pastor Donny Rowland officiating. Burial will follow services at Chandlersville Cemetery.
