Rodney "Rodd" E. Murphy

Rodney “Rodd” E. Murphy, 57 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully on Thursday October 20, 2022, at Continuing Healthcare at Willow Haven.

He was born on January 3, 1965, in Zanesville, Ohio, son of Carl “Rick” Murphy and Georgeanna “Tudy” (Jenkins) Murphy. Rodney worked at Crooksville Auto Auction House and Dollar General Warehouse. In his spare time, Rodney enjoyed being around old tractors. He always went to tractor and farm shows.

He is survived by his father, Carl “Rick” Murphy; mother, Georgiana (Jenkins) Murphy; brothers, Todd Murphy, Tedd Murphy, Barry (Anna) Murphy, and Mike (Tina) Murphy; and stepmother, Debbie Murphy.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Don and Rose Murphy, Charles “Chad” and Eleanor Jenkins.

Per Rodney’s wishes, no calling hours or services will be held.  A dignified cremation will take place. Rodney will be laid to rest at Wesley Union Cemetery at a later date.
