Robert "Bob" Lee Real

Robert “Bob” Lee Real, 74 of Zanesville, passed away on August 26, 2025, at Cedar Hill Nursing Home in Zanesville.

He was born on May 9, 1951, in Cambridge, Ohio, son of the late Leo Real and Alexandria “Elizabeth” Polin. Bob attended the Sharon Avenue Free Methodist Church.  

Bob is survived by his wife, Barb (Alexander) Real; 2 daughters: Christy Kirkbride and Virginia Jewel; sisters, Donna “Jeanie” Hall and Betty Alexander; stepsisters, Janet Edwards and Lela Real; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In addition to his parents, Bob is preceded in death by his son, Daniel Real; brother, Joseph Real; sisters: Grace Bryant and Marjorie DeCoaro; and stepbrother, Harvey Clayton.

Donations in honor of Bob can be made to DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home to help with his funeral expenses.

Per Bob’s wishes, no calling hours or services will be held at this time. A dignified cremation has been entrusted to DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home.
