Robert “Bob” James Faulhaber, 84 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully surrounded by his children at his residence on September 30, 2022.
He was born on January 4, 1938, in Byesville, Ohio, son of the late Henry H. Faulhaber and Martha (Phyla) Faulhaber. Bob was a veteran of the United States Navy. He later worked at McGraw Edison, Greiner Dairy, and Longaberger Basket Company. In his free time, he was an avid fisherman; he loved taking his trips to Canada. Bob also performed as a Golden Glove Boxer, was a member of the High Hills Sportsman Club of Ohio, and was a former scuba diver for various law enforcement agencies performing rescue and recovery. Most of all, Bob truly enjoyed being around his grandchildren.
He is survived by his daughters, Melissa Faulhaber, Jane (Jeff) Paul, and Tammy (Eric) Pride; grandchildren, Jennifer (Kyle) Davis, Janessa Paul, Erin (Waylon) Smith, EJ Pride, Rachel Faulhaber; great-grandchildren, Blake Davis, Blaine Davis, Rayne Robison; and close friend, Keith Smith.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Saundra (Brown) Faulhaber; son, Robert “Bob” D. Faulhaber; brothers, Bill Faulhaber, Fred Faulhaber, Dave Faulhaber, Johnny Faulhaber, Ted Faulhaber; sisters, Josephine Faulhaber, and Patty (Floyd) Gaunder.
Per Bob’s wishes, no calling hours or services will be held. At this time, a dignified cremation will take place.
