Robert A. Walker, 90 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2025, at his residence.
He was born on October 1, 1934, in Malta, Ohio, son of the late William C. Walker and Etta Medley. Robert was a member of St. Nicholas Church and a graduate of Lash High School in 1952. He worked at Big Bear as a manager, Meadow Gold Dairy, and Borden Dairy for many years in sales and delivery. He enjoyed rooting for his Cincinnati Bengals, Reds, and Ohio State Buckeyes. In his spare time, he liked to go to yard sales and sometimes he would get the “Wheeling feeling”. Above all, he was known to be a family man. He loved his wife, children, and grandchildren endlessly.
Robert is survived by his 2 children: Richard (Helga) Walker, Deborah (Marvin Gill) Worthington; 9 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; daughter in law, Karen Walker; many nieces, nephews, cousins; special neighbors, Bill and Betty.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Margaret “Margie” (Morris) Walker; 2 children, Robert Walker Jr., Diane Marie Jones; sisters, Juanita Robinson, Margaret Denbow, Norma Lindimore, Gladys Anderson, Faye Ullman, Jeanne Hupp, Pauline Hall; and brother, William Walker.
