Robert W. "George" Runyon Sr.

Robert W. “George” Runyon Sr., 83 of Zanesville, passed away September 22, 2020 at Genesis Morrison House.

He was born November 21, 1936 in Wheeling, West Virginia, son of the late, Clyde Runyon and Olive (Lewis) Willson Carr.  He retired from Mid Atlantic Canners and was a Methodist by Faith.

He is survived by his wife of sixty-four years, Phyllis Bulstrom Runyon; sons, Robert W. (Della) Runyon Jr., Thomas E. (Maria) Runyon; daughters, Diana Marie (Bob) Carpenter, Jane Ann Mills, Ruth Ellen (Chris) Fliger; fifteen grandchildren, thirty-one great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held 2-4 & 6-8 Friday September 25, 2020 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will take place at 11:00 AM Saturday September 26, 2020.  Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery.
