Rick L. Robbins Sr.

Ricky Robbins Sr., 64 of Philo, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on December 13, 2024, at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville.

He was born on September 15, 1960, in California, son of the late Donald Robbins and Nancy (Denbow) Robbins. Rick worked in the oil field and later at Mattingly Foods as a “picker” for several years. He attended Cornerstone Church of Duncan Falls. Rick was an avid LA Dodgers and LA Rams fan. In his spare time, he loved to play golf and watch his grandchildren play sports.

Rick is survived by his son, Ricky Robbins Jr., sister, Debbie (Joe) Brown, Lori (Cheryl Bryan) Robbins; grandchildren, Kendyl, Ava; special friend, Debbie Robbins; stepchildren, Chad Clark, Shawn (Shantelle Harmon) Reed; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; and special dog, Remi.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Donald Robbins; and sister, Cindy Reardon.

Per Rick’s wishes, no services will be held at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
