Philip L Collins

Philip L. Collins, 59, of Zanesville, Ohio, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on February 28, 2026, at his residence.

He was born on February 26, 1967, in Zanesville, Ohio, son of the late Cecil Collins and Nancy (Mahon) Collins. Philip was a veteran of the United States Army and worked as a welder. He enjoyed golfing and camping. He loved the Colorado mountains and being outdoors.  

Philip is survived by his 5 sisters: Melisa Archer, Robin (Randy) McGrath, Elizabeth Collins, Teresa (Wayne) Ballentine, and Margaret Lorentz; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In addition to his parents, Philip is preceded in death by his 2 favorite boys/companions, Sammy and Truman.

Per Philip’s wishes, a dignified cremation has been entrusted to DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home.
