Paul J. Leary Sr.

Paul J. Leary Sr., 81 of Adamsville, passed away on February 9, 2025, at Rosco Gardens Nursing Home in Coshocton.

He was born on January 5, 1944, in Elkins, West Virginia, son of the late James F. Leary and Minnie May (Fanseler) Leary. Paul loved the outdoors. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his loved ones.

Paul is survived by his 2 children: Paul (Mary) Leary Jr., Ritta Schoen; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 1 great grandchild on the way; brother, Charles Leary; special grand-furbaby, May; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In addition to his parents, Paul is preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years, Rita (Norris) Leary; 4 sons: William Leary, Clyde Leary, James Leary, Rusty Leary; brother, Henry Leary; 4 sisters: Geraldine Haddix, Pauline Hendrick, Alice Leary, Betty Lawrence; and son -in-law, Brian Schoen.

Graveside burial of cremains for Paul and his wife, Rita, will be held on Saturday February 15, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the Fairview Church Cemtery.
