Nancy E. Metcalf

Nancy Ewelleen Metcalf, 82 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully at her home on November 30, 2025.

She was born on October 8, 1943, in Morgan County, Ohio, daughter of the late Ewell Wilson and Eve (Ponchak) Deal. Nancy enjoyed BINGO, bowling in several bowling leagues, and reading her books.

Nancy is survived by her 2 sons: Daniel Metcalf and Dennis (Anna) Metcalf; 10 grandchildren: Kelly (Zach) Ray, Colton Metcalf, Garrett Metcalf, Abby (Brandon) White, Jedidiah Metcalf, Emma Metcalf, Maggie Metcalf, Josie Metcalf, Mackenzie Metcalf, and Silas Metcalf; 2 great grandchildren: Samuel White and Eleanor White; brothers, Jerry Wilson and Bill Deal; sister, Honey Mae Seevers; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Daniel “Danny” Metcalf; and 2 brothers: Jimmy Wilson and Kenny Wilson.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday December 9, 2025, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will be held at 1:00 PM with Pastor Matthew Kirkpatrick officiating. Burial will conclude services at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
