Nancy L. Chappelear

Nancy L. Chappelear, 80, of Zanesville, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2025, at Adams Lane Nursing Home in Zanesville.

She was born on November 12, 1944, in Zanesville, Ohio, daughter of the late Ralp “Dick” Myers and Ruth (McLoud) Myers. Nancy worked at Lear Incorporated for over 50 years, where she retired. She was an animal lover and  loved rooting for her Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns.

Nancy is survived by her 2 sons: Bill ( Kaila Foster) Johnson and John Dicks; longtime companion, Danny Ward; 2 brothers: Rick Myers and Danny Myers; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several cousins and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Woody Johnson.

A dignified cremation has been entrusted to DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home.
