Micheal A. Loomis

Micheal "Mike" A. Loomis, 35, of Zanesville, passed away as a result of violence on July 20, 2025, at the Genesis ER in Zanesville.

He was born on September 11, 1989, son of the late Andrew Thomas Loomis and Debbie (Terry) Smith. Mike was an avid Michigan Wolverine fan. He enjoyed working on small engines, cars, or whatever he could get his hands on. In his spare time, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle and helping others. He had a warm spirit that touched anyone he came in contact with and was always willing to help in any way he could. There are no words to explain how much we will miss him.

Mike is survived by his loving mother, Debbie (Dale) Smith; 4 children: Aiden, Abby, Madison, and Sofia; 2 sisters: Stephanie Loomis and Heather Loomis; 3 brothers: Christopher Loomis, Andrew Loomis, and Charles Terry; Grandma, Helen Fisher; Uncles, Ray, John, and Jimmy; Aunts, Paula, Baby Sis, and Sarah; special friends, Amanda Needles, Kristen Sanders, and Paul (Shirley) Schultzman; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and MANY friends.  

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his paternal Grandparents, David and Mary Loomis.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday August 3, 2025, from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home. A dignified cremation will take place following visitations.
