Michael R. Griffin

Michael R. Griffin, 63 of Zanesville, passed away, Saturday, April 2, 2022, at the Morrison House Hospice in Zanesville, OH.

He was born January 23, 1959, in Zanesville, the son of the late Donald and Lela Griffin.

He was a 1977 graduate of Zanesville High School and was a member of Eagles Aerie 302 of Zanesville. Michael was a member of the Y-City Hogs Motorcycle Club and was a member of Rushing Wind Biker Church 5715 East Pike Zanesville, OH.  He retired with 17 years of service at Burnham Boiler Co.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Charlene A. Griffin; daughter Debbie S. (Jason Nelson) Dooley; sister Sondra K. Severt of Zanesville; three grandsons, Logan A. Dooley, Cameron B. Dooley, Alex A. Hutchins; Adam G. Dooley, father of his grandsons Logan & Cameron; his fur baby Boo Boo; and several nephews and nieces.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Howard L. (Larry) Griffin; sisters Marlene R. Griffin and Marlene Lemmon.

Calling hours will be held Thursday, April 7th, 2022 from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the Rushing Wind Biker Church, 5715 East Pike Zanesville, OH, where services will take place at 6:00 PM with Pastor Mike McGuire officiating.

Per Mike's wishes cremation will follow the funeral services.
