Mary L. (Plumb) Withers

Mary L. Withers, 68 of Zanesville, passed away January 22, 2020 at her residence surrounded by family.

She was born November 4, 1951 in Zanesville, daughter of the late, James Plumb and Hazel Plumb.  She worked for Essex Wire and the City of Zanesville Water Department.  She loved traveling, the beach and riding motorcycles. Mary was really crafty and loved to sew.

She is survived by daughters, Susan (Josh) Newton, Tiffany Lewis; sister Marie Mack; grandchildren, Joshua Newton, Johnna Newton, Jacob Newton, Patricia (Andrew) Newton-Weaver, Shyann Newton, Michael Bailey, Aryana Bailey, Giovanna Bailey; three great-grandchildren; niece Tara Mack-Williams; several great-nieces and one great nephew.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Pearl L. Withers; brother James Plumb.

Calling hours will be held 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Sunday, January 26, 2020 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will take place at 7:00 PM.  A dignified cremation will take place following the service.

A memorial dinner will be held following the service at the Little Tijuana 1347 Ridge Ave, Zanesville, OH 43701.
