Mary R. Tracey

Mary Rosalia Tracey, 90 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on December 24, 2024, at Willow Haven Nursing Home in Zanesville.

She was born on October 11, 1934, in Zanesville, Ohio, daughter of the late Fred Soller and Mary (Armbrust) Soller. Mary was a graduate of Rosecrans High School in 1952. She was a member of the VFW, Eagles, and the American Legion Auxiliary in Zanesville for many years. She enjoyed word searches, gardening, crocheting, and helping raise her grandbabies. In her spare time, she enjoyed watching old Westerns, Jeopardy, and Wheel of Fortune. Above all, Mary loved spending time with her family and loved ones.

Mary is survived by her 4 children: Jeffrey Tracey, Donald (Sue) Tracey, Peggy (Mike Marolt) Taylor, Gary (Anita) Tracey; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; son-in-law, Dave Tetak; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 39 years, Scott Tracey; daughter, Vicki Tracey; 7 brothers: Floyd Soller, Gerald Soller, Homer Soller, Anthony “Tony” Soller, Paul Soller, Clyde Soller, Bernard Soller; 2 sisters: Helena Pletcher, Bertha Russell; 1 grandson, Kenneth “Bud” Tracey.  

Calling hours will be held on Monday December 30, 2024, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will be held at 1:00 PM. Burial will conclude services at Greenwood Cemetery in Zanesville, Ohio.
