Mary Ruth Smith

Mary Ruth Smith, 72 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2023, at her residence.

She was born on June 10, 1950, in Zanesville, Ohio, daughter of the late Carl E. Hall and Wanda (Barker) Hall. Mary worked at United Tech and Dollar General. In her most recent years, she enjoyed being able to stay at home. In her spare time, she enjoyed taking shopping trips with her daughter, Cindy. Above all, she loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Cindy (Justin) Rodgers; son, Jeff (Stephanie Siders) Smith; grandchildren, Johnathan Smith and Abby Smith.  

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John “Jr” Smith.

Private graveside services will be held.
