Mary L Labaki

Mary L. Labaki, 71 of Zanesville, Ohio, passed away on January 8, 2026, at Genesis Hospital.

She was born on March 16, 1954, in Zanesville, Ohio, daughter of the late Robert Connell and Evelynn and Bill (Reynolds) Moorehead. Mary was a Methodist by faith. She worked over 30 years in banking as a Loan Specialist, where she was nominated for 2 Women of Achievement from Park National Bank before retiring.  She loved making greeting cards and jewelry in her free time. Above all, she loved spending her time with her family and loved ones.

Mary is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Dan Labaki; daughter, Amber (Nick) Jarrett; sister, Kathy (Ron) Orwig; grandchildren, Kassadee Jarrett, Mollee Jarrett, and Natalee Jarrett; great grandchildren, Mara Larson; aunt, Mildred Needs of Florida; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; special cats, Pixie and Daisey.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her 4 brothers: William “Bill” Connell, Mark Connell, Jay Moorehead, and Matthew Moorehead.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday January 10, 2026, from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will be held at 3:00 PM with Chaplain Ekele Nwankwo officiating. A dignified cremation has been entrusted to DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home following services.
