Marilyn Sue Pitre

Marilyn Sue Pitre, 70 of Zanesville, passed away on Saturday January 4, 2025, at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville.

She was born on July 11, 1954, in Zanesville, Ohio, daughter of the late James Lewis Gill and Mary Ann Summers. Marilyn loved her dogs and playing BINGO. 

Marilyn is survived by her 2 children: David Pitre and Samuel Pitre; 3 grandchildren: Henry, Olivia, and Haleigh; significant other, Timothy Welker; 7 siblings: Betty (Gene) Pierce, Alan Gill, Norman Gill, Doug Gill, Robert Gill, Vernon (Theresa) Gill, Marie Bogard; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Terry Gill.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday January 8, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Zanesville Memorial Park with Douglas Gill officiating. Burial will conclude services at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
