Marilyn Kay Irvin, 70 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on April 8, 2025, at the Oaks of Bethesda Nursing Home in Zanesville.
She was born on February 25, 1955, in Zanesville, Ohio, daughter of the late Henry Foster and Ethel Foster. Marilyn was a housewife and caretaker. She loved animals and her plants. She was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan and enjoyed coloring in her spare time. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and loved ones.
Marilyn is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Richard Irvin; 4 children: Eric (Abbey) Irvin, Wayne Irvin, Josh (Candace) Irvin, Jodi Irvin; brother, Michael (Rebecca Gaiters) Brown; sister, Rose Morrison; grandchildren, Kaden Bagent, Grayson Irvin, and Delaney Royster.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Robert Brown.
Private services will be held. A dignified cremation will take place following service and has been entrusted to DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home.
