Margaret L Robison

Margaret Louise (Newell) Robison, 94 of Zanesville, died peacefully on November 19, 2022, surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born on April 28, 1928, in New Concord, Ohio, daughter of the late Harry Newell and Helen (Stotts) Newell. Margaret was a member of the Central Trinity United Methodist Church of Zanesville, Ohio. She worked at Citizens Bank for many years, where she retired. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading books, taking care of her flowers, and watching her birds. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandkids.

She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Addie Robison; sons, Daniel (Susan) Robison, Jim Robison, Dale (Lisa) Robison; daughter, Janice (Danny) Gee; grandchildren, Derek (Lindsay) Gee, Michelle (Jeremy) Tilton, J.R. Robison, Stetson Robison, Danny (Michelle) Robison, Diana (Doug) Campbell; several great grandkids; several nieces and nephews; special dog, Mercedes or as she would say, “Marzetti”.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Newell; sisters, June Burkhead, Eva Kokensparger, and Helen Gilcher.

Calling hours will be held on Monday November 21, 2022, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home. Services will be held on Tuesday November 22, 2022, at 1:00 PM at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home. Burial will follow services at Greenwood Cemetery in Zanesville, Ohio.
