Mabel M. Dale

Mabel M. Dale, 85 of Zanesville, passed away on May 1, 2025, at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville with her family by her side.

She was born on December 5, 1939, in Zanesville, Ohio, daughter of the late William Carrel and Tula (Allbery) Carrel. Mabel was a graduate of Zanesville High School in 1958 and later graduated from Meredith Business College. She worked for Zanesville Mold and Anchor Glass Container for over 33 years, where she retired. She enjoyed casinos and traveling. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and loved ones.

Mabel is survived by her 3 children: Michele “Micki” (Brion) Hubbard, Lori Harris, Herbert Harrier; grandchildren, Derek (Massiel) Hubbard, Tasha (Manuel) Pascual, Shronda Norris; great grandchildren, Mauricio Pascual, Sofia Pascual, Olivianna Pascual, Aurora Hubbard; step children, Gary Harrier, Eric (Patty) Dale, Molly (Rick) Walton, Dane (Bobette) Dale; siblings, Betty Willey, Ralph “Bill” (Mary) Carrel.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her 1st husband, Herbert Harrier; 2nd husband, Robert Dale; siblings, Denna Carrel and Laura Carrel; sister and brother in laws, Winnie Carrel, Donna Carrel, Robert Willey; stepchildren, James Harrier, Thomas Harrier; and special family friend, Bryan Coe.

Calling hours will be held on Monday May 5, 2025, from 3:00 – 6:00 PM at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will be held on Tuesday May 6, 2025, at 11:00 AM with Rev. Darren Tolbert officiating. The family welcomes visitors on Tuesday between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM before services. Burial will conclude services at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
