Lorie “Bo” (Brooks) Burkhart

Lorie “Bo” Burkhart, 53, of Zanesville, passed away at Genesis Morrison House at 6:10 AM on December 30, 2018 in Zanesville.

She was born February 21, 1965 in Saint Joseph, MO, daughter of Mary E. and the late Fred O. Brooks, Jr.  Lorie was a 1983 graduate of Zanesville High School and had worked for the Zanesville City School district for 15 years.

In addition to her mother she is survived by her daughters, Heather Burkhart, Heidi (Chase) Davis and Kelly Burkhart all of Zanesville; 2 granddaughters, Claudia “CJ” Simon and Peyton Davis; 3 brothers, Keith (Judy) Brooks, Fred (Carmen) Brooks IV, and Timothy Brooks; 4 sisters, Sheryl Mason, Teresa (Jeff) Camp, April Brooks and Jessica (Mike) Moomaw; several niece, nephews, great-nephews and nieces; including her special bond with Marc, Matthew, Michael, Maddux, and Max Burkhart, Robin (Jim) Starlin-Post, Jeff (Amanda) Camp II and Lily Camp.

In addition to her father, Lorie was preceded in death by her brothers, Fred O. Brooks III and Bryan Brooks; a brother-in-law, John Mason Sr. and a nephew, Tod Starlin.

No services will be observed a dignified cremation will take place.
