Lois N. Leasure, 99 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on September 22, 2024, at her family’s home.
She was born on March 6, 1925, in Mt. Vernon, Illinois, daughter of the late Daniel Ford and Willowdee Ford. Lois was a graduate of Lash High School in 1942. She was a member of Meadow Farm United Methodist Church of Zanesville, where she served as a Deacon for several years. She worked on the family-owned Dairy Farm, milking and raising cattle for most of her life.
Lois is survived by her son, Charles (Deb) Leasure; 2 grandchildren: JD (Tiffany) Leasure, Josh (Katie) Leasure; 9 great- grandchildren: Darin, Laura, Masyn, Grayce, Griffith, Grant, Reece, Nate, Arlie; and special friends, Sandy and Rich Gura.
In addition to her parents, Lois is preceded in death by her 2 sisters: Ruth Marshall and Ruby Boone.
Calling hours will be held on Friday September 27, 2024, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will be held at 1:00 PM with Pastor Dean Cole officiating. Burial will conclude services at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
