Linda S. Wolfe, 78, of Hopewell, Ohio, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Monday April 20, 2026, at her home.
She was born on February 28, 1948, in New Philadelphia, Ohio, daughter of the late Howard Carr and Sue (Belknap) Carr. Linda was a lifelong dedicated Christian. She worked at Essex Wire, Halls Pottery, and later retired from Diebold Incorporated. Linda loved gardening, flowers, and being outdoors with her dogs. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting, quilting, and sister trips. Above all, she loved her animals and spending time with her family, friends, and loved ones.
Linda is survived by her children: Dale Wolfe Jr. (Kelli), Sue Seevers, and Rebecca Hill (Eugene “Bean”); grandchildren, Dale Wolfe III (Ali), Mandi Wolfe (Shane Janczyk), Stephanie Seevers, Randy Mullinnex Jr., Desiree Mullinnex, TJ Swartz (Monica); great grandchildren, Nora, Elliot, Scarlet, Pax, Aeon, and one on the way; 5 siblings: Sherri Spencer, Gin Stinson, Ed Carr (Fran), Ann Swearingen(Jeff), Rita Newton (Roger); son in law, Randy Mullinnex; special fur babies, Lula, Princess, Sissy, and Kit Kat; several loved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 39 years, Dale L. Wolfe Sr.; daughter, Debra Mullinnex; brother, Danny Carr; brother in laws, Tom Spencer and Geno Stinson; sister-in-law, Debbie Carr; special friend, Roger Miller.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday April 23, 2026, from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home and Friday April 24, 2026, from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM, where services will be held at 11:00 AM with Pastor Jamie Harrop officiating. Burial will conclude services at Woodlawn Cemetery in Zanesville.
