Linda K. VanDyne

Linda K. VanDyne, 77 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on October 12, 2024.

She was born on August 17, 1947, in Zanesville, Ohio, daughter of the late Frank Elson and Lottie (Shiplett) Elson. Linda loved going to church and Jesus. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling and shopping. Above all, she enjoyed spending her time with her family.

Linda leaves behind 9 children: Cheryl Evans, Tammy (Roger) Massey, David VanDyne, Ike (Kim) VanDyne, Nickie (John) Mohler, Shawn (Dewey) Ballard, Christy (Shane) Maxwell, Rickey (Bobby) VanDyne, Stacey Fraunfelter, Kimberly (Ralph) Cobb; sister, Ruth Pyle; grandchildren, Jamie, Joni, Jessica, Dustin, Brayden, Autumn, Chandler, Chase, Laken, Cody, Coltin, Katlyn, Jason, Gary, Brittany, Braylee, Austin, Kendal, Brandon, Brenton, Malerie; several great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 20 years, Isaac J. VanDyne; daughter, Angel VanDyne; 3 brothers: Chuck Elson, Bobby Elson, Harold Elson; 5 sisters: Mary Grandstaff, Evelynn Huddleston, Virginia Lyons, Betty Smith, Gladys Fisher; 1 granddaughter, Ashley Massey.

Per Linda’s wishes, no calling hours or services will be held at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
