Linda D Hancock

Linda D. Hancock, 78 of Zanesville, passed away on November 20, 2025, at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville.

She was born on June 13, 1947, in Barnesville, Ohio, daughter of the late Pete Dudas and Virginia “Jenny” Shuman. Linda graduated from New Albany High School. She worked at Economy Linen and as a Nurse's Aide for several years before retiring. She enjoyed baking, cooking, gardening, and going to BINGO. Linda was a lovely wife, sister, grandmother, and friend.

Linda is survived by her husband of 55 years, Merrill L. Hancock; son, Tim Talbert; daughter, Michelle Talbert; grandchildren, Kristen and Rhett; 3 sisters, Rose Taylor, Elizabeth “Faye” Taylor, and Judy Yates. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, William Dudas; sisters, Lurenda Dudas and Carol Sue Farmer.

Calling hours will be held on Monday November 24, 2025, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will be held at 12:00 PM with Rev. Darren Tolbert officiating. Burial will conclude services at Glen Rest Cemetery in Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
