Lawrence “Marty” Tobias

Lawrence “Marty” Tobias, 60 of Zanesville, OH, passed away at home on Sunday, January 26, 2020.

He was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 29, 1959 to the late, Lawrence and Virginia Tobias.

He was married May 25, 2002 to Lisa A. Tobias.

As a young man Marty proudly served our country in the United States Army at Ft. Jackson, South Carolina.  He was very talented with computers and all things tech related.  He could tinker and fix anything.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sister Janice Campbell-Shelton of Wyandotte, Michigan; children L. Matthew Tobias, Ashley (Shane) Campbell, Courtney (Stacy) Tobias-Highley, Ashley (Andre) Bruce, Stephanie (Eric) Bunting, Britany Tobias; grandchildren, Lexius Tobias, Marissa and Isabella Campbell, Annalese Tobias, Madelyn Labaki, Olivia and Parker Bunting, Elliot Tobias; great-grandson Aidric; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Dennis Campbell and Roger Campbell; brother-in-law Craig Shelton.

Calling hours will be held Saturday, February 1, 2020 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will take place at 6:00 PM.

A dignified cremation will follow the service.
