Keely F Caplinger

Keely Caplinger, 30 of Zanesville, passed away December 18, 2020 at Genesis Healthcare.

She was born on July 10, 1990 in Zanesville, daughter of Vanessa Caplinger and Brad Claypool.

In addition to her parents she is survived by her fiancé Keith Alexander Jr.; children, Hailey Caplinger, Kyler Alexander, Keith Alexander III and Leland Alexander; siblings, Kayla (Chris) Caplinger Thompkins, Kyle (Jasmine Norris) Caplinger, Brandie Claypool Scott; grandmother Theresa Caplinger, father-in-law Keith (Rebecca) Alexander Sr. and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Obed “Pete” Caplinger; grandmother Lois Pierce; aunt Valerie Caplinger; step-mother Dee Claypool; brother Logan Claypool.

Keely loved going camping, canoeing, fishing and making memories with her family and close families. 

She gave the gift of life to others by being a tissue and organ donor.

Calling hours will be held 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will take place at 1:00 PM with Pastor Aaron Bounds officiating.  Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park.

DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
