Kathy J Wilhite

Kathy J. Wilhite, 60 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on January 27, 2021 at the Morrison House.

She was born in Zanesville on June 17, 1960, daughter of the late Kenneth Krause and Naomi Joann Barrell.

Kathy was a loving wife, mother, grandma, sister, and friend. She worked at Cedar Hill Nursing Home, along with helping her father’s family business, Ken’s Tree Service. On July 4, 1981 she married her true love, Steve Wilhite. Kathy’s main focus in life was raising her two sons, never missing any of their sporting events or special moments throughout the years. Kathy loved her crafts and was known to always be willing to help anyone as she volunteered at Mending Hearts Ministry for Women, Christian Motorcycle Association, and Christ Table.

She is survived by her husband; Steve Wilhite; sons, Jason (Stephanie) Factor, Matthew (Ashlie) Wilhite; bonus sons, Justin ( Sabrina) Carder, Barry Carder; siblings, Jolee Clifton, Kendra ( John) Brookover, Bev (Ronald) Stemm, Joyce (Steve) Jones; grandsons, Wyatt Factor, Tyler Factor, Bryce Wilhite, Madison Factor, Logan Wilhite, Adalyn Wilhite; and soon to be great-grandson, Silas Factor.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Steven Wilhite Jr.; brother, Jeffrey Krause, James Krause; sister, Dianna Krause; brother-in-law Tracey Clifton; special friends, Amy Blake Carder and Bud Blake.

Calling hours will be held 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Monday February 1, 2021 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will take place at 1:00 PM with Mark Barrell officiating.  Burial will follow at Duncan Falls Cemetery.
