Karen Ann Hutchins

Karen Ann Hutchins, 74 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on May 1, 2022.

She was born on November 19, 1947, in Zanesville, daughter of the late William Harper and Elsie Delyte (Mahon) Harper. Karen was a mother, aunt, grandma, and friend to all. She worked at Longaberger Company for 17 years, where she retired. Karen loved to cheat people in cards, never backed down from an argument, and swore Elvis Presley was her first husband.

She is survived by sister, Marsha Harper of North Carolina; children, Paul Seaton III, Jeff (Annie) Seaton, Danny (Stephanie) Hutchins, Shanna Hutchins; grandchildren, Jessica Slaughter, Michael Seaton, Piper Seaton, Jesse Hill, Parker Seaton, Kaitlin Hutchins, Kasey Hutchins, Paxton Seaton, Kylie Hutchins, Wendy Jones, Greg Jones; brother-in-law, Kenny Ricketts; sister-in-law, Sandy Harper; special fur baby, Ben.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Terrence Hutchins; son, Jesse Seaton Sr., grandson, Jesse Seaton Jr.; and several siblings.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday May 5, 2022 from 5:00 PM- 8:00 PM at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home. Services will be held at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home on Friday May 6, 2022 at 11:00 AM with Kathi Davis officiating. Burial will follow services at Greenwood Cemetery.
