Joy Medley Obituary
Joy A. Medley, 85 of Zanesville, passed away on November 16, 2021 at Genesis Hospital.
She was born on August 2, 1936, in Hamilton County, daughter of the late Dwight Thomas and Pauline Joy Thomas. Joy was a housewife and in her spare time she enjoyed sewing, especially for her family. She was also known to be an avid dog lover.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Ralph D. Medley; sons, Terry (Martha Prouty) Medley, Steve (Kris) Medley; daughters, Debbie (Sam) Dunn, Janie (Frank) Bruce; 7 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Edward Thomas; and grandson, Clint Dunn.
Calling hours will be held on Friday November 19, 2021 from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM at East 40 Church of Christ (7522 East Pike Norwich, OH 43767). Services will be held at 1:00 PM with Sam Dunn and Jared Graves officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery (1655 Bald Hill Rd Zanesville, Oh 43701)
