Joy (Dozer) Maxwell

Joy Maxwell, 77 of Zanesville, passed away November 10, 2020 at her residence surrounded by family.

She was born May 24, 1943 in Zanesville, daughter of the late, Russell Dozer and Ina Wilson.  Joy loved her family and worked for Riesbeck’s of South Zanesville for ten years.

She is survived by her husband whom she married August 30, 1963, David Maxwell; daughter Tammy Maxwell; special niece, Michelle Brock; grandchildren, Ashlee (Kyle) Winters, Katelin (Aaron) Macenko, Coltin Coleman; grandchildren, Rylee Winters, Keylee Winters, Ayden Winters, William Macenko and Wyatt Macenko.

Calling hours will be held 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, November 12, 2020 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home.  Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday November 13, 2020 at Rose Hill Cemetery with Pastor Chris Riggs officiating.

Per family request all guests will be required to wear self-provided face coverings.  We ask anyone with flu like symptoms to refrain from attending services.
